Our Holy Land tour agency was founded to provide a high-quality, world-class tour for those who want to have a deeply educational and religious experience, as opposed to the cookie-cutter assembly line tours created to push the masses through as cheaply as possible. Sacred Space Tours has put together an experience unlike any other on the market, one established on principles of “best practices” according to peer-reviewed research in pilgrimage and religious tourism studies.
What Makes Us Different
We have observed that most American and Israeli tour agencies are staffed by people who know the tourism industry but have very little in-depth training and knowledge on the world of the Bible, Middle East history, or Judaism and Islam. Many tour guides hired by these agencies have no formal training about the land in which they are leading tours. Many of these guides are amateur Bible enthusiasts, religious day school teachers, or minor celebrities.
All of our tour guides at Sacred Space Tours have graduate training in a relevant field and/or have lived or conducted research in Israel-Palestine. We have carefully crafted the itinerary so as to ensure that the experience is a religious and educational experience, as opposed to simply an “interesting” experience filled with endless facts soon to be forgotten.
